Beachclub Finale Weekend with Axwell /\ Ingrosso + Tiësto

Prepare yourself for the loooong weekend, because after several months of booking what we assumed couldn’t possibly be a more packed lineup of the world’s best DJs to the renowned outdoor club, they’ve somehow saved the best for last. This Labour Day weekend, the Beachclub 2018 summer season is going out with a bang with a little help from none other than Axwell /\ Ingrosso and Tiësto.

Axwell first began using a computer to make beats around age 13. He grew heavily involved in the acid techno scene throughout the 90s, but by the 2000s became due for a re-emergence. In 2004 he dropped “Feel the Vibe,” a song that gained eons of radio play and was deemed one of the biggest dance hits of that year. After repeating that smash success many times over, in 2014 he joined forces with his countryman Sebastian Ingrosso to form Axwell /\ Ingrosso. The Swedish duo will be hitting those synth spots at Beachclub Pointe-Calumet all day long on Sunday, September 2nd. Get your tickets here!

Similarly to Sweden, the Netherlands are a nation known for churning  out electro musicians of the highest calibre, but who pioneered it all? His name is Tiësto, and he’ll be following-up Axwell /\ Ingrosso’s appearance at MTL’s summer hotspot on Monday, September 3rd.

Beginning his career in 1994, Tijs Michiel Verwest started releasing hardcore tracks under a variety of aliases, leading to him sign with Rotterdam-based Basic Beat. He spent years climbing the ladder and perfecting his craft in the Dutch dance world, before making his first real impact in the early 2000s with the release of “In My Memory.” Many red-hot singles and continental tours later, he dropped “Just Be” — featuring “Traffic,” the first non-vocal track to hit the #1 spot in the Dutch charts for 23 years. Some Olympics ceremonies, Grammy awards, six studio albums and all-star collabs later, Tiësto is one of the biggest and most influential names in all of EDM. Now’s your chance to see him play a live day-party set just one half-hour bus ride from Montreal.
