evenko, in collaboration with Delta Air Lines, presents Festival YUL EAT, which will take place in the Quartier des Spectacles as well as various Montreal locations from Monday, September 10 to Sunday, September 16, 2018.
To mark its 5th anniversary, Festival YUL EAT will adopt a new formula that will thrill culinary art lovers.
On the menu:
• The return of the Parcours Gourmand – Grand Tasting – In a new location: the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT), the Satosphère (its dome), and the Foodlab Delta Air Lines terrace. Thirty stands featuring food tasting and alcohol producers, culinary demonstrations by renowned chefs, and surprise workshops await the participants. On Saturday, September 15 and Sunday, September 16. 18 years old and over.
• The YUL EAT Masterclasses – This year, they will take place where the magic happens: in restaurant kitchens and workshops of passionate alcohol producers. For these intimate experiences, a small number of participants will have the opportunity to closely observe our chefs and artisans behind the scenes, broadening their knowledge, and most of all, enjoying great food while getting in on the action in a most authentic atmosphere.. Reservation required; very limited places.
• The YUL EAT Place – It’s at Place de la Paix, next to the SAT, that the outdoor portion of the event will take place: Redpath Market, culinary demonstrations, mini-conferences, Creemore Springs’ Biergarten. Free admission.
• Special Events – For this festive edition, Festival YUL EAT will feature special events, including one celebrating the 50th anniversary of l’Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ). Other special nights exclusively designed for the Festival will enliven the week. Details to come.
