Come early with a fully stocked picnic, you won’t want to miss a minute!
Piknic # 13 (August 12th)
Darling of the electronic music press Kim Ann Foxman will bring the day to its crescendo in style at the Solotech Stage, with her hyper-danceable blends and silky sophisticated take on house. Plus, Toronto’s Bambii takes us on a journey through the hottest sounds in club land and Victor Bongiovanni brings his jackin’ take to up-front dance music.
At the Moog Audio stage, local collective NVA will be in control with Sainte Nitouche‘s visionary selections, New Yorker Hunter Lombard‘s high-octane rhythms and Softcoresoft‘s ravy techno for the grand finale.
Piknic # 14 (August 19th)
The Solotech Stage belongs to Desert Hearts, an American collective whose festival in the Mojave Desert has blossomed into a full on movement celebrating the best in dance music. For this fantastic, Burning Man-tinged Piknic, Mikey Lion, Lee Rynolds, Marbs and Porky will take turns on the decks: bring your most outrageous costumes to join in the fun!
At the Moog Audio stage, the OCTOV collective will present their massive vision of techno including the banging sounds of Lucide., the futuristic beats of Omar Hamdi, the deep gems of S Y L A and a Surprise Guest to end the day.
Piknic # 15 (August 26th)
It’s our annual festive get-together as Piknic Électronik teams up with MUTEK to celebrate dance music’s leading lights. At the Solotech stage, you’ll witness a very special set by Floorplan AKA Detroit techno legend Robert Hood and his daughter Lyric. Other can’t miss moments: Bambounou‘s funky syncopation and red hot grooves, and an opening set by Montreal’s own Ouri.
At the Moog Audio stage, Anthony Naples will headline with his edgy, angular take on New York dance music, after Magnanime‘s nervy house rhythms.
You’ll be grooving in the sun with a smile on your face for hours and hours. See you on the dance floor!
